So, my Mom went to Winnipeg to do some shopping at Costco with a friend, which means I was in charge at home. I can honestly say that it went quite well. Things didn't happen perfectly, but, with a very busy two-and-a-half toddler (who is feeling under the weather), and young children that will be lively, Carolyn and I had our hands full.
Scrambled eggs for breakfast. Afterwards, we did some laundry, tidied up around the house, and had fun together.
Leftovers for lunch, the funny expressions are because of me delivering an 'I won't take any nonsense, and we need to get things done' speech. :D In all, it was a successful, normal type of day (excepting our mom's absence, ;) ).
