This story was written shortly after Elias' story. My mom wrote a fill in the blank story, and I filled in the missing words. The underlined words are the ones I filled in.
Once upon a time, in the land of Oinkers there lived a pig named Hogers. He was a very nice animal. One day when Hogers was out playing he saw a bright light and went over to see where it was coming from. Behind a bush, he found it and said, "Wow!" He ran back to the animals and told all his friends what a special treasure he had found.
No one had ever seen such a sight in all their lives, and asked Hogers what he was going to do with it. "I am going to keep it of course!" Everyone wanted to take a picture of the gold because it was so rare and precious. When they showed the king, he got very angry and tried to take it away. "Only I should have something like this....I am the king! Special things belong to the most special animal in the kingdom....ME!" The Queen, who was standing by the king said, "Don't you think you are being too greedy? Hogers found the treasure, shouldn't he get to keep it?"
The king hung his head in shame. "You are right, my queen, I was being greedy. I should give this back to the owner and not take it for myself." The king called the guards and brought the treasure back to Hogers who had found it. Hogers was so happy that the king had returned it, that he leaped with joy. The End.
